Shadowstalker16: ...snip
No Total War games on here. But they have only one DRM and a built in option for non workshop mod managing.
nightcraw1er.488: Not sure I understand? ALl the way up to and including Total War Medieval 2 the games were fine to run off disc, after that they went all Steam, is that the one DRM you mention? As for built in mod management, well not seen a good implementation of that on any game, even EScrolls - so TPV manager would be the main thing, but then with the DRM that probably wouldn't work.
Currently, since there aren't many disks of those around, you have to get them on Steam and that's the only account login you need to do. I said single DRM because after Bethesda jumped into this, it seems all the big publishers have one.
Its good for using pre-donwloaded mods you pasted to the data folder. Sometimes it screws up downloads from workshop though. Other than that, its just a simple one-tick-to-activate-mods mod manager.
Shadowstalker16: This will be epic. More 40K stuff will definitely come out. If anyone's gonna make a LOTR one though, they'd probably stick with the pre-TW3 engine games or at least limit up to Shogun 2 since everything after doesn't allow custom campaign maps. Same with 40K as well, most likely.
I feel like I wanna say I want an AoE2 one, but that won't make sense. Either way, here's prayers for a WC one although Blizzard will probably nuke it when they get wind of it.

anothername: Should they either release offline DRM retail or here on gog I might consider them. Otherweise the combination of big back log + full time job allows me to be extremely picky.
Yeah they even recently patched the first and second in the series(Shogun 1 and Med1) for modern OSes but didn't release those shiny fossils on GOG.
