SargonAelther: Also let's not forget the Video Game History Foundation bundle that was available for 24 hours, then pulled out of the blue and every mention of it buried, as if it never happened.

kai2: Was that the third sale that was listed on the store's splash page? By the time I followed that link it just lead me to an "old" GOG page with no discounts. I wondered why the tab on the main page had a countdown...? So... there was a sale and it was pulled? *sigh*
No, that's completely different. You're talking about https://www.gog.com/blastfromthepast

I'm talking about a "Goodie Bundle" that was for sale for 24 hours or less. I'd link it, but you know...
Well, I can't complain.
Got a few games, got some deals, even something for free.

Btw, the Quantic Dreams games also don't have achievements on Epic, so why would they have them here?
Nothing was removed, so calling them inferior might be a bit far fetched.

They have Achievements on Steam, which is a feature that was indeed removed for the GOG versions, for no good or justifiable reason.
I went into this event fully expecting GOG to drop the ball, or just do something really lame or stupid, but what I didn't expect was for them to basically do nothing at all. There was nothing to distinguish this from any of the other apathy inducing sales that GOG seems to run ad infinitum nowadays, there weren't any special discounts, the giveaways were games with mediocre reviews, and the highest profile new releases were David Cage's pretentious crap. Whee.

GOG put more effort into patting themselves on the back for Phantom Liberty than they did celebrating a milestone.

At least Seal of Evil was finally released here and I could complete the series.
But yeah, I was expecting some specific titles (Boiling Point, Brigand: Oaxaca and ~hopefuly~ Alpha Protocol), but none of them came.
Heavy Rain needs more SHAUUUUNN!

Lord_Kane: You need to stop expecting things from GOG my friend. you really do.

Darvond: I expected that they'd manage not to break anything, is that really such a tall ask?
for gog it is.
Fallout 4 was fairly close so personally I can lump that in. Hopefully an Alpha Protocol release was just held up temporarily and isn't dead in the water.
Have to agree, the sale was somewhat lacklustre. I got the David Cage games, not because they're good, but because I have a soft spot for Detroit: Become Human and want a gog release of that game in the future. :P

Still, no comparison to the summer sale when we got the whole Yakuza catalogue...well, almost, there's a couple games missing, but I'm sure we're getting there. ;)

I'm in the mood for horror games and maybe we're getting a couple neat new games during the halloween sale. Will definitely grab In Sound Mind, slept on that title for far too long. :)

Breja: the Sheep?
He kind of sounds like a sheep, after around a minute and a half.

I always lose it at this part, god damn it. :P
I didn't even claim ONE free game... Pretty lackluster for me. At least they had something?
Those who were able to grab the VGHF goodies pack before it got delisted have obtained a 15th anniversary sale profile background, in case they ever want to relive the crushing disappointment of that event.
Just hoping Alpha Protocol was delayed and didn't fall through
