Thank you for that antediluvian joke -- it's not quite as old as Cain, but it's getting there. :-P

No, no. You're supposed to say something like "I'm sure it will be something I can sink my teeth into" or "I bet the story will be really high stakes". Get it?

I love deadpan humor.

What happens when Konami wants to re-release Castlevania: Bloodlines and there's a trademark squabble over the name "Bloodlines"?

A bloodbath.

Guess they'd have to pull the plug then.

That would be too easy.

Well you can always come up with something else in the same vein.
Remember when Square Enix trademarked Chrono Break?

When it was released, wasn't it everything you always hoped for in a sequel to Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross?

Konami as it is now will just seek to solidify their hegemony in the area of once-relevant-videogame-franchises-turned-pachinko-machines. No-one will care about the trademark then.

DaCostaBR:
Different companies and philosophies?
How can they trademark that? I thought Activision owned all of this shit?

Where does that leave Activision? Cue Gearbox/3DRealms nonsense 1 year before the game is ready to ship.

Breja: It's gonna suck.
It could end up being good, but I wouldn't count on it.
