If you or anyone else has twitter, you can show your support to the dev and publisher, @WarhorseStudios @deepsilver. I twitted at them since the game doesn't seem integrated into Steam, other than achievements.

Cards/marketable items mean just extra money for the devs, why would they pass on that ?

It was a rhetorical question, just wanted to say it makes sense business-wise, as there is a demand for such features, heck, some people only buy games that drop cards.
