Liking it. I get your concern about the blur, but art is never truly finished - only abandoned. Don't get caught in that hole.

I could never paint anything close to the person who painted this cover orriginally, I just cleaned up the age and terrible scan. My true creative skill is in 3D modeling and rendering, I put some good ideas together and make them look as close to a photograph as possible. Painting is not in my tool-set.

The Amiga Amber series are a testament of how publishers can destroy beautiful art with a bunch of unnecessary stickers. There was no real adjustment needed with these.

I was merely stating that you shouldn't get caught up in the minutia of things, perfection is a road without end. While the blurred version may not be the Sistine Chapel, it's far better that what's available, and you felt good enough to upload it for others to see.

In short, don't be so critical that you stop moving forward...

Whoever runs the database or the GOGCovers site, can someone make a special template for GOG releases to make it easier? Either the usual ones or the one with the updated look?

Speaking only for myself, due to time issues, I generally don't do covers for DLC releases. On March 30, 2017 post # 2209 I did post the cover for the base game if that will help.
