vicklemos: I have a personal list of some 30+ Ubi + EA classics that, unfortunately, didn't hit our shores. Yet.
avatar
Grargar: I meant that not a single EA/Ubisoft game has been removed from here despite the existence of those companies' proprietary clients (with the notable exception of XIII, which was removed thanks to an expired license).
avatar
vicklemos: Well, there's room for (already classic? I think so) games such as Armies of Exigo/Cold Fear in here! :P
avatar
Grargar: Sure, there is always room for more old games.
Yep I'm "just" using your post to showcase my main ideas, BWA HA HA
The thing is, well, I got excited with Bloodlines being released. It doesn't just 'open the floodgates' for more Activision classics, but other companies should do the same; well that's what I hope! :)

Matruchus: Agreed a lot EA games missing.

If we could get Armies of Exigo it would be really grand. One of rare Warcraft like games out there. And obviously C&C games.
Yeah. I mean, YEAH!
Exigo and Worldshift blew my mind some years ago. And Paraworld, damn, supreme games ;)

Warcraft III, to be more exact :)

You are correct yes :)

Paraworld was a really grand game with its parallel dinosaur world theme. I think it was the only succesfull rts game in that sphere. I would really love to see it here but that depends on Deep Silver. Worldshift I never played since it was sold in the news at that time as a pure multiplayer game.

nightcraw1er.488: See the other thread today, bethseda are starting thier own drm/client site so I expect all their games to be pulled from here soon, and no further releases of any new games.
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/bethesdanet

Say bye bye to any new game coming here.

fortune_p_dawg: this would be incredibly unfortunate seeing as how close we seemed to getting Oblivion and New Vegas. hopefully you're wrong and they are in line for release here at gog.
I keep hoping to see both Oblivion and Fallout 3 on GOG as well. The for [url=https://www.gog.com/wishlist/games/oblivion_all_available_dlcs]both are over 8,000 each!

i sure hope so! in the mean time i may have to pick up a physical copy of oblivion on amazon or something, to quench my thirst. i think the physical copies of oblivion are still drm-free.

Not going to respond to each response, nice to see how much optimism there is here. I think it misplaced, but keep hoping.
This should be everyday, but at least we "have" a day now. Making progress.

I've only been buying from GoG for these last 2.5 years

Not all of them. Only GOTY Edition, and even about that I am not sure. Standard edition included some variant of Securom, just so you know.

It's DRM-Free in the sense that it doesn't require online activation. It still has a disc check.

ah well, that I can live with, hopefully transferring my save when the eventual gog version arrives isn't too much of a hassle.

Install an adblocker (also reduces chance of malware etc).
Install something to stop scripts (also helps reduce crap).
Turn of tracking/cookies in your browser (again, for the same reasons)

P.S. I have no idea wtf raspberry shillpie is.

In honour of this day I thought I would go out of my way to buy a new, expensive DRM-free game on GOG. Does anyone have suggestions?
