So I want to buy Mad Max and I can't because it says my bank declined my card. I contacted my bank and they said it was not on their end and my card is working fine. Anyone else having this issue? I sent a ticket to gog support and I've been waiting for almost 2 days now for a response. I am little bit scared of running out of time, because the sale is gonna disappear soon.

If your card credentials stored in GOG, try to remove it and try again, this time without saving you bank card data.

Not sure if it's related. I had such issue once, called my band and they told me that the transaction was blocked indeed by the recipient (GOG), then I get in contact with GOG staff and I was advised to remove my bank card from "stored" (I forgot how it was called exactly), so I removed my card credentials from GOG and tried again and it worked.

I'm sorry, I was hoping it might help given my own experience.

It's ok. It's the thought that matters. Thanks anyway.
Are there alternative payment methods available to you, such as Klarna, SOFORT, or PayPal, so that you don't have to miss out on this sale?

What exactly are the other payment options offered to you on the checkout page?
No Paysafecard?

Google pay, skrill, paypal and paysafecard. But these are a bit more complicated for me than the actual credit card. And I don't want to add money to my paypal yet.

This may be an obvious question, but do you have a second credit card you can try?

Also, I've had this happen to me on the same card 2 or 3 times, and for me at least, it was because I used the card multiple times before using it on GOG on the same day and it triggered a lock on it. Apparently this lock was to prevent fraud. They said this happened (at least in my case) due to the purchase being made outside the US.

Try calling your bank once more and see if you can specifically talk to their fraud department and maybe there is some lock on it the regular support agent didn't notice. I've had to transfer to a supervisor at least once to get my issue resolved at the bank.

Are you able to add credit/funds to your GoG wallet using the same card ?. Worth a try, if you haven't done so already...
