Okay, I carry my laptop around the house and the wifi connection isn't always optimal, but still, the old site was fairly snappy. This one is easily the slowest I use on a regular basis, to the point I'm actually avoiding browsing it entirely. :(

Can confirm. The forum is slow, too.
Noticed a decrease in speed too. I carry my laptop around the house and it takes me ages to reach the next room.

It's a safety feature. They're afraid that seeing how crap the site is now too quickly might give users a heart attack.

Weird. i have a slow computer and older Iphone and i have no problems
Yep, slow as molasses, get used to it fellas, I feel like we're going to be here for some time.
Here too.

wierd - the only user who does not have performance issues is from USA...
The forum feels as usual to me. But the store page is loading considerably slower since the re-design.
Thanks for the heads up. I thought the slow down was on my end because accessing overseas websites from China can be a real pain at times.
In the days before the redesign I experienced very low speeds (both in the website and the forum). But since last week they are both running very smoothly, in laptop and in mobile.
For me all the extra animations hit the performance pretty hard. I wish there was a way to disable them.
Slow, yes, very. Broken, in every way. Wrong language, wrong tiles, 404s. It's like some diarrhoetic curry afficieonado has gone to town on the main page!
Couldn't notice any differences, if you could elaborate on what is slow, it could be more helpful. Do you mean the forum or the store?
I confirm this too.

I even got a GOG bear just a minute ago instead of a message editor popup when I was trying to reply to another thread.
The forum seems a little slow, but the main site is actually snappier than usual. Maybe some backend maintenance?
