GOG should include a disclaimer in all of it's promotions stating that "it is never our intention to offend anyone, but if someone should be inadvertently offended for some reason, we apologize", and leave it at that. Because if you're going to "borrow" trending hashtags, you *are* going to offend people. Period.

Excuse me, but I don't really see how this was different from what GOG did after Postal 2 tweet. Both companies licked journalists' boots with apoligies with equal eagerness. Or do you mean that GOG should have fired the guy who posted Postal 2 tweet?

Why thank you. I just think it's funny that the segment who rants and raves about mobs suppressing dissenting opinions is following me around downrepping my posts without a hint of irony. I mean sure I'm kind of shitposting by this point, but only because apparently I'm not allowed to genuinely discuss this if I'm not willing to tow the line.

Incidentally, how do you know I wasn't asking people to bring my fanclub broflakes? It's the finest cereal for growing incels everywhere.

Sorry, what? How does downrepping not allow you to genuinely disscuss something? People just show you their opinion on your attempts and your statements. Maybe their opinions are not thought through and they shoud express them more properly, but no one stops you from continuing. No one deletes your comments, blocks your account or spams you with harrassing messages.

Well considering the default setting is to hide downrepped posts (something I disabled a long time ago) it is a form of soft suppression.
It's most hilarious that my request for evidence was downrated. Post-truth world.

People that take offense at memes and such should just stay off social media. It's like those people that get sick every weekend when they drink, but never seem to learn that booze just isn't for them.
