Pheace: From what I've read that's if you have an opinion of intolerance, then yes, you'll be banned.
Problem is that currently "intolerance" is pretty much everything short of agreeing to anything minorities do or say. I won't treat someone differently because they are trans, but it does not mean I should agree to their ideas that psychological gender should be deciding factor in what category (men or women) you can compete in sports. Which would already get me on "transphobic" list in eyes of many extreme Left cause it is not what trans activists want to hear.

If you're an edgy comedian then fine, but if you're a business and you want to stay neutral then apologising is absolutely the right thing to do.
The outrage mob are not only an overly loud, very small minority, they are almost never actual customers of geek culture such as comics, games and movies in any meaningful way.

By apologizing you're doing nothing but capitulating to predomenantly emotionally immature, perpetually offended crybullies and virtue signalling social justice crusaders and in doing so you are going to start alienating the actual enthusiasts, your actual paying customers and possibly even scare some potential new ones away because believe it or not, the vast majority of people are sick and tired of this insipid nonsense and will start to become distrustful of, or even disassociate themselves from a company that bends over for them.

Some people were canceling their accounts on GOG while i saw somebody who already owns the witcher 3 game on PS4,XBOX 1 steam, buy it on GOG for PC at full price because of that tweet to support them.

I'd say the vast majority of people (customers) are likely not even aware this stuff is happening and will just think they're doing the right thing by apologizing if they (GOG) think they accidentally upset someone.

Source please, because every trans person I know is fairly geeky. That's not to say all trans people are geeky, but I've got to ask where you're getting the idea there's no crossover between those offended and "customers of geek culture".
I am not trans, but I can see how the knowing misuse of that hashtag is insensitive considering what how serious a situation it is for trans people in the US right now.
Your assertion that there is little to no crossover smacks of "no true Scotsman".

In my experience geeky people can get into rather heated discussions about their geekdom (like... DS9 vs B5) among each other, but they usually don't take part in the hate mongering of who offended whom. Could be because geeks are often enough target of ridicule and malice themselves - they learn to shrug it off. Most of them probably want to be left alone with their obsessions.

That's still extremely anecdotal. We don't have enough data to be throwing around assertions like "None of the people offended are customers ('real gamers')".

I'm not for a second defending doxxing or any other harassment, I just think there's no basis to be saying "those offended aren't your customers", especially since the "hate mob" don't represent the entirety of those offended.

Besides, apart from being untrue, "they aren't your customers" would be a crappy excuse to not apologise for something.
