[I believe this has not been reported before. It appears the Italian and German Mac installers are now separate from the French+Spanish+English one, whereas the latter has probably not physically changed (same EFS name, same size, same date) but is now associated with only three languages, not five.]

P.S. All in all, looks like a GOG menu bug fixed. This may have been complained about in November (http://www.gog.com/forum/shadow_man/downloaded_german_installer_but_game_is_still_with_english_text_and_voicover).

Every time I see that Outcast has received an update, I move ever closer to the point of actually buying it. It's great to see such an old game being made to work with current systems by the developers. Even if I didn't like it, I'd still be glad to support such an effort.

I asked and according to the dev it will ... after a while:

"Yes, but since they don't have a way to handle automatic beta distributions and updates, GOG will only get it when it's out of beta and we can be sure that the new version will last. Right now we're still making a number of small updates (especially having to do with translation support)"

Anyone know what all the latest updates in the installers reported by MaGog are about?

All but Shadow Man have been reported earlier in this thread, primarily by Judas. MaGog just suffers from its up-to-three-day delay.

I got no notification flag for Shadow Man. I guess I have to go check the game forum to see what that's about, eh?

Nobody did and it is not mentioned in the forum. As far as I can surmise, it is a GOG menu bug fix, which until now listed the English+French+Spanish installer also under German and Italian, thereby blocking access to these last two separate installers.

EDIT: It is a silent update. There are lots of them. I used to download my entire library every 6 months and at least 20% of it was different despite me always downloading upon every notification. Now I have MaGog to notify me (and you) of every change, silent or otherwise.

it's related to the french updete of the site (some months ago) , i have many installers which have been changed (i don't speak about the mac installer) .-> and you are right should be around 20% of the titles i own.

someone also mentionned (don't know if it's true) about Galaxy ...

and the notification system isn't working all of the time, or it's intended , for the first case it's intended; for the mac installerq , reason unknown ...

as far i know about shadow man , didn't get a notification for the new mac version either , but i know the windows installer has been changed probably for the first reason (but it's not recent)

Too much secrety , i'd like to be informed if an installer has been changed, and make my decision if it's worth to download the new installer or not.
