Just after 5 days, the exactly same stupid bug appear again:

Sounds like "use Galaxy to get the latest patches a.s.a.p." doesn't exactly apply to all new(er) games, in spite it being advertised and pushed as the cure for everything, the common cold included. Yes, I'm exaggerating, but why wasn't the latest build/patch in the Galaxy channel? Don't the devs have access to it? If so, why not? Or have they decided not to use it, and why?
I think for AI War and Shattered Haven both the standalone installer and Galaxy had the same outdated version for a very long time.

Back before Galaxy came out those two games received very frequent updates (sometimes multiple updates per week) and GOG said they wanted to wait with updating the standalone installers until the game development stabilized a bit and that we should use the web updater Arcen Games included with the game, if we wanted to have the latest build.

But then the updates slowed down to 2 or 3 per year and I've contacted support multiple times and asked for an updated standalone installer and it took them until now to actually deliver. The GOG version of AI War was still at version 7.056 or something (from 2014) until a few days ago. Now it's the latest version 8.024, so almost 30 updates were skipped and every time you installed the game (through Galaxy or standalone) you had to use the Arcen Games updater to get the current version... and sometimes Galaxy then "repaired" the game back to the obsolete version 7 again...

HypersomniacLive: Still puzzled as to why GOG Galaxy didn't have access to the latest patches/builds as they were released.
Most likley the dev has added the Galaxy SDK and/or isn't set up to push out builds to Galaxy. Most of the newer games are now but a lot of games that are still being supported by their devs haven't made the jump.
My GOG game play time clock stopped working after new update.
I don't know is it correlated, but I hope it will be fixed soon.

#### Patch 1.1 hotfix 2 (07 September 2017)

* Hopefully fixed gamepad problems that came with the latest hotfix. Unfortunately the issue with Alt / Ctrl / Shift not working when streaming the game has not been resolved yet, but is being worked on.
* Fixed incorrect inputs for the gamepad sometimes displayed in the cooking menu.
* Gamepad mode now turns on when using the analog sticks, not just buttons.
* Fixed weird player leg rotation when stopping running.
* Fixed art for some objects, like the bathtub glitching out sometimes.
* Several spoilery fixes for the epilogue.
