Patch 1.32.22015 (22nd September 2016)

- Improved the "game speed" functionality to prevent inconsistent gameplay behaviours in the campaign and skirmishes.
- All weapon modules now start with cooldown at 0. This means all weapons will fire immediately after being built.
- Players will no longer be able to build any unit by selecting another building and (very quickly) pressing the previous factory's hotkey.
- Aircraft no longer stop moving when issued a stop command. This addresses an exploit in which a player spams stop and gets the aircraft to hover over a target.
- Fixed a GWG issue that caused flashing lights and white circles to appear around buildings
- Optimized shaders to improve performance.
- Updated Computronium (resource lines) appearance to blend better with the environment.

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]

Patch 15.2 (22nd September 2016)

Patch 15.2 introduces several bug fixes. It also introduces a revamped passive system, as well as some minor refinements to the User Interface.

Passives

- The passives mechanism has been changed. Previously, the passives bonuses would only apply at the starting stats of the hero. Here follow the changes:
When the maximum health, attack damage, magical damage, magical resist or defense stats increase, the passive bonus is also applied.
Speed passive will only be based off of the hero's initial speed.
- Critical effect adds to the hero's critical effect.
- Hp regen is now based off of a flat amount, instead of the player's percentage health.
- (CHANGED)Greed now increases all gold gained by 4% per level, up to a total of 40% increase.

User Interface

- Changed the "Press [Tab]" key text to "[Tab] to assign stats.”
- The stats level up text indicator now blinks to call the player's attention.
- The skill-up icons now glow to call the player's attention.
- The walls on the mini-map are now represented by solid-white blocks instead of wireframe squares.
- The hero emits small particles when holding an Angel Feather.

Flavour Text

- Added flavour text option for Speed Up.
- Added flavour text option for Experience.
- Added flavour text for damage dealt to enemies

Gameplay

- (NEW)Gamepad Reticule Aid: when using a gamepad, the aiming reticule will go along with the player's movement when the right stick is on rest. This should make it easier to attack incoming enemies.

Items

- (NEW)Murderer's Ring, Item Effect: Adds +10 to physical damage, magic damage, magic resist and defense. Every 5 seconds, spawns lasers to damage nearby enemies. Item Class: Equipable (Evil)

Ingredients

- (NEW)Wizard Remenant - Used to craft Murderer's Ring.
- (NEW)Owl Remenants - Used to craft Murderer's Ring.

Recipes

- (NEW)Murderer's Ring Recipe
- Recipe Rarity: Evil.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed a bug where Selene would stop attacking if the player stood at a great distance.
- Fixed a bug where Angel Feather would not get picked up, failing to revive the player.
- Fixed a bug where Arcane Forge ingredients were not getting consumed if their stack count was 1.
- Fixed a bug where you could use activable items during cutscenes.
- Fixed a bug where Skeleton King would sometimes cause the game to crash.
- Fixed a bug where disabling the critical flavour text would not really disable it.
- Fixed a bug where pressing the Q key would cause the game to take a screenshot and make it lag. This key is now configurable in the controls menu.
- Fixed a bug where Vital Armour would not heal you.
- Fixed a bug where Selene's Knives could cause the game to crash under certain conditions.
- Increased FPS by a small amount.

Known Issues

- Due to the way the engineer behaves, his spider are dealing more damage than anticipated (each spider is dealing the displayed tooltip damage). We'll try to balance this issue out.
- Some dungeons can spawn without any marks. We have special plans for this situation ;)
- A new mechanic to cap the movement speed of heroes is needed, due to some of them still going sonic-like when using certain movement speed objects.
- The game has performance issues on some areas.

[CHANGELOG UPDATED]
Patch

- The Linux version will be updated ASAP.

UI and Text Resizing

- Sunless Sea was made in Unity 4, which had some limitations particularly around the way it handled text. As a pretty text-heavy game, we ended up with many players finding the game unplayable due to their screen resolution. Text was tiny or fuzzy. Not ideal!

- Happily, in Unity 5 we’ve been able to do a lot more with the user interface, and have fixed the fuzzy/tiny text problems (with the help of everyone who opted into the Unity 5 beta - thanks!). Please enjoy fiddling with the size of your text and the gazetteer to your heart’s content.

HypersomniacLive: Might want to remove the duplicate for the 3rd part of the installer.
Are you referring to GOG or to me? In any case, I suppose the first 2 parts of the installer are common to both the English and the German versions, and only the third one differs (note the difference in size), presumably because it's the one containing the localization assets.

No problem! I don't read very thoroughly everything I post here... normally I only make sure file changes are real and changelogs are not broken. In this particular case, I didn't realize the first 2 parts were common to English and German, while the 3rd was not... :P

Because of the (again) missing update flag for W3 did titally miss this but I looked at my library and obviously they now integrated the language packs from Blood and Wine into the expansion the way it already was with Hearts of Stone. Still the base game needs the additional language pack. A little step further towards the GOTY release in which you don't need any language pack or expansion to install at all. Unfortunately CDPR does not seem to care a bit and is ignoring all my questions and requests to update this to GOTY if you already own all content. 360 votes on the wishlist but no reaction. Seems like this whole wishlist is not worth anything.

If you look closely, the one expansion shrunk significantly, while the other one grew substantially. They may have somehow integrated language packs into the main installers but it doesn't make a lot of sense to me for the DLC to shrink so massively if they are adding additional language support. Personally I never download language packs or language specific backups as I'll never use them, but it doesn't bother me much at all if they incorporate all that stuff into main installers. Sucks to waste some disk space for something I'll never use, but it's not a huge deal to me at all.

My only real concern is when something changes in a way that is not documented or explained somewhere to find out explicitly what the changes are and potentially why. Not to judge it, but rather to understand to be able to justify whether or not to re-download new backups. Also, to ensure that an accidental change didn't happen to which they didn't intend.

It does make some sense to me if they integrate the language packs into the main installers though, as that makes it less hassle for people who need/want/use other languages, which is probably a lot of people so it's not unreasonable to integrate it. Still, it would be nice to get an official GOG explanation of the changes whether it is terse or more detailed (preferred) just because more info is better than less info. :)
