THat's not the problem, Judas. The patch is labelled correctly. The problem is, as I noted in my previous post, that there are no 64 bit DLer links for the game files. You can only get them from the main game page. Since I use the DLer, I don't even look at the main game page. So I've been DLing the 32 bit files, not even knowing there were 64 bit files available until the patch showed up labelled as 64 bit.

My comment was that the .exe (installer) wasn't labelled as 64 bit. But, it seems, that's because it isn't. So why didn't you guys put links to the 64 bit files in the DLer page?

I just took a look at the DL'er page. The 64bit version you are looking for is simply labeled as "Dreamfall Chapters Season Pass Windows Installer" above the 32bit version installer which is mixed together with the 64bit patch in the patches area of the site. I can totally understand your confusion. However I would suggest you to install adalia fundamentals so you can use the main page WITH the downloader links.

I thought both my no-notifications would be related to Dreamfall Chapters, but that might not be the case if there's people with two while others only get one. There must be another upated game...


The thing is that I hadn't received a 'ghost notification' in a long time, so I thought they had been eradicated. :\

Well, either there's some really bad-ass compression going on, then, or there are 64 bit files missing. Because that installer file (the.exe - the very first one on the DLer page) is only about 32 MB. The 64 bit ptach is about 100MB. There are no other files labeled 64 bit (no .bin files).

So the whole setup on the DLer page is still completely borked up.
Yep, I think I'll do that. Already using Barefoot Monkey's scripts, so may as well use adalias as well.

Strange. My very first Installer file is about 7GB but I tried the German one.

Yes, for me it was the same. Unfortunately they still haven't fixed the German localisation (Back = Zurück, Next = Zurück) I contacted them yesterday about but well ... maybe they just need a little bit more time ;)

Oh boy. As I said, it's my stupid kicking in. I don't know how I ended up with the 32 bit 32MB .exe so many times when I tried grabbing that installer. Yes, it's the one in your pic, and yes, it's 8.25 GB. Again, I've no idea how I was not clicking that one. Anyway, I guess I can get it now. But I may stick to 32 bit, since I've already got those updated files and I don't want to eat more of my allotment (my own fault). Gonna have to apologize to Judas as well.
Judas, I owe you an apology. The root of this is apparently my IQ dropped an order of magnitude overnight. All the 64 bit files are on the DLer page and it's all good. Again, apologies for my idiocy.

The ghost update appears to have been Dreamfall Chapters for me. It started as a ghost, turned into a Dreamfall Chapters update, but then became a ghost again for a bit, and now it's gone.
