It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

HypersomniacLive: True, it is.

I have another issue, also pretty irregular.

I get a message notification, I open my chat, and land on the conversation I last sent a message, not the one I last received one, even if my message is older than the one I received.

Has this happened to you?
avatar
ElTerprise: Yup. That has happened to me as well - once or twice...
Thanks guys - we'll try to reproduce that. Looks a little hard to bite if it's irregular. Did you see the notification on the conversations list too, or in the top "account" menu only? Sounds like the notification about unread message comes from previous one that you got, but notification queue is overloaded (the irregular part) and works with a delay. Still - shouldn't happen.

See for the latest manifestation of the issue for me, and [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_what_did_just_break_thread/post1006]here for an ongoing issue.

Oh, and you might want to try reproducing it outside the GOG building. ;-D

ElTerprise: Could it be a HTTP/HTTPS issue? Had this issue months ago and it was related to the HTTP/HTTPS switch...
I haven't noticed any difference between the protocols when it comes to this.

But it's cold outside in Warsaw in November...

Well it was only a guess...because in my case (as i said months ago) i only got the account menu when i forced HTTPS...

I only got the notification in the account menu thus far.

Valid guess though, thanks.

No problem. Hopefully there will be a solution for the problem soon.
I have just received "wishlist item on sale" e-mail, which is true, but wl alerts were disabled. Surprise notifications maybe?
Great, this issue is back again, and the Account tab is completely missing on the forum when logged in. Visiting the front page, and refreshing or re-opening the forum does not fix it.

Can confirm this is also happening on Chrome, but not on Pale Moon.

Doesn't happen on Chromium, however :)

I just started getting the problem on current Firefox Aurora maybe 15 minutes ago.

Phew, everything's in order then.

Had that issue on Opera today as well but deleting my browser history of the last 24 hours fixed it....don't ask me why that worked. Got that solution from Agent.
Have since a few minutes the "Account tab missing" problem. It seems to appear especially when I visit a topic that I created by myself. Then the account tab is completely missing. To get it back, I have to close Firefox, reload GoG frontpage and then open the community tab by rightclicking and "open in new tab". If I click on community directly, the account tab does disappear!!! Really a weird thing!!!
