Zeo is one of those people who thinks he has the answers for everyone else. Just like some others on the forums over the past few years. People complain about unjust derepping, tell them rep doesn't matter, that they are over-reacting, and then derep them more for it. That has been the "community solution" for the past few years. How well has that worked out?

Try telling your significant other that they are wrong and over-reacting and see how that works for you...

While these people's intentions might be good, the way they go about it comes off as quite condescending and dismissive. And enforcing the point by downrepping them too, just shows that these people are not beyond bullying tactics.

GoG deserves quite a bit of blame for doing nothing about the trolls and rep issues, but I think everyone needs to look at their own actions. Telling others how I'm right and you are wrong, you are a weak person for caring about the derepping issue and not ignoring it, just adds to the problems here and shows you aren't really listening to the valid concerns of your fellow forumites.

Ignoring a problem rarely, if ever, makes it go away, but that is what some people have tried to do in the last few years while "blaming" the victims of the problem.

My opinion about this drama, I don't know much about it. So it is about what I saw from it. Yes maybe I'm wrong, sorry.

1.) I think it is sad when people go to Zeo and complain about someone else.
I dunno who did it and why did it, but I think it is not the right way.

If I get a msg from zeo people complain about me I would be disappointed. If you have problem with someone tell him, talk about it and don't talk behind him. Think about it what the other person could feel when people complain about him anonymously.

2.) Post NFSW content without any warning is a very stupid idea, people can lose their job or get in trouble because of it. Why is it hard to understand this?

3.) I don't think it is a good way to ban anyone from a community because of those things.

4.) Leak the link of the private forum it was the most childish and dumbest move u could do. And I think you lost some people from your side because of it.

5.) People are attacking zeo after what he did for this community is again a stupid thing.

There is a person in there who as of last night was using this as their forum signature:

"Starting tonite november the 27th of 2016, 1.7 millions of unsufferable fucktards in France just desserve death penalty with extreme prejudice !"

This person hasn't been warned, and isn't going to be.

I asked zeo why. He doesn't see the need to.
He did tell you, he said if more than one person complained about that he would.
At least 3 people (that I know of) complained about you so you were warned.
That's how it works. You choosing to ignore that makes you a dick, it doesn't make you right.

It's the way he's moderating the forum if multiple people complain he takes it up with them.
If you have issues with that discuss it with him instead of complaining that you're being treated unfairly.

This. Rep points were one of things that are often implemented to allow a forum a certain amount of self-policing. Didn't work. Filtering out content and grabbing the ban hammer? Isn't going to work either. Best case scenario with stringent discussion policy is that most people are either banned or leave, and you end up with a tiny forum membership with strongly moderated (and usually boring) discussion topics. Heavy handed moderation does one thing to a forum - it leaves it a ghost town. I've seen it happen more than once.

From what I've seen, the people screaming the loudest for moderation and banning are often the worst offenders themselves. There's plenty of people here who take this internet community shit WAY too seriously and need to relax. The forum needs some re-organization and a better handle on scammers and/or hackers. That's it. It doesn't need an international war crimes tribunal. For feck's sake, it's a goddamn internet chat room based on video games, not a city council meeting deciding how to come up with money to pave the roads.
