Rodzaju: A Subway sandwich here can be up to £6!

NightK: A subway sandwhich cam go up to 5€ and BigMac menu is usually around 5€ also... But stuff is expensive in Portugal, that's why I usually buy what I can on-line.
I've never thought of buying sandwiches online....

;-}

spinefarm: A Subway sandwich here is 1.5 euro... a BigMac is 2.5 euro :)

Family size pizza is 5 euro here (with two ingredients) , Subway sandwich (30 cm) is 4.5 EUR

DJSkribblez: My parents just confiscated my Xbox 360, my Wii and my PlayStation consoles for undisclosed reasons, so it looks like I'll have to resort to PC gaming for now. ._.

As I've already said, anyone who can gift me Rayman 2: The Great Escape to me, I would truly be grateful to them.

Also, does this game work with a Saitek P380 gamepad? PC World are selling it for £10 and it looks like a steal.

gameon: I'll tell you what. If someone else gifts me arma gold edition, i will gift you rayman 2 straight away. Lets see if someone wants to get this chain going...
Looks like fun, so I say: if someone gifts me Botanicula, then I will give you ArmA Gold :)

gameon: Lol, and if someone gives you botanicula, they will request whispered world, and then that person will want witcher 2 etc etc.

Still, i do like the thought of a gifting chain, rather than just one person getting gifted, a whole bunch of people would save money instead. (apart from the last person, who would get something for free)
Nice thing about it is that, possibly, in one moment a few people might become very happy.
But is there a person who wants to make them all happy? We don't know and it's even hard to expect that... But still.. who knows... :)

Family size pizza with 4 ingredients here is 6 euro... Subway is quite cheap to be honest. Chinese food is cheap too....

gameon: The only problem is trust. But obviously, from posting here, we'd know if anyone screwed anyone over.

It could be done, but i doubt it is practical. I guess its more realistic for us to save up money and buy games ourselves eventually. Or gift people cheaper things.
I guess it looks a bit different from my perspective. I have enough money to buy games I want whenever I want. So I am just curious to see if anyone wants to play our game. It'd be fun to see a bigger chain, because gifting is more fun than buying for one's own :)

I assume you only want GOG version of it, right? Tell me if you want it on Desura (with other Introversion games)

Sorry, GOG would be preferable, Steam acceptable, but I don't use Desura.

No worries. Actually there is a direct link for the installer if you buy Darwinia on Desura, so you don't have to install Desura.

It's more about having all my games accesible together, rather than scattered over the web.

gameon: I cant see this idea working out though.
Neither do I, sorry to say that. We already tried to do it here with some guys and you can see how it went
http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/happy_leap_year
also if you read carefully you would see how the chain was constantly... interrupted? Also see what happened in the end. :)

gameon: That didn't look like a structured chain. Nobody mentioned what was happening, and there was no rules saying "you have to gift".
True, especially since we could not decide whether the redeemer must give something in return or not. We tried encouraging people, but clearly among gifters and redeemers there were those, who thought it was a bad idea.

Anyway, good luck with your plan.
