Well, I think SimpleUser asked about this and the most common answer was "you can determine it yourself". There was a thread with his big giveaway somewhere, but I do not remember the name....

I called shenanigans and she said you should wait as long as you feel is the right amount. :)


Personally, I suggest giving a little bit of time to redeem, maybe 2-4 weeks. You bought the game and it's not like it's burning a hole in the interwebs. :)

Oh well i just bought HOMM III & IV myself so no need to gift those anymore :P

I still would like to get the first HOMM though, so if someone is feeling generous... ^^

Why are people giving away games to each other? Is this just simple acts of kindness or is there some angle here I'm missing?

Well, kindness is actually one of the angles here :-)

It is mainly kindness and also it keeps people from posting a bunch a threads asking for games so it's a win win, fewer posts about people asking for games and a nice place to post what is on your wishlist in case someone is kind enough to gift you something.

So guys, if anybody feels like his pockets are overflowing with cash and is in a generous mood, maybe this kind person would mind gifting me one of the might&magic parts, preferable 7 or 8.

Why does Anachronox sound like an arachnophobia to me?
