LordKuruku: I also bought all these games since I'd had an interest in many of them years ago, but was never able to buy any computer games back then. Many of them are games I pirated or got from thrift stores, neither of which publishers or developers ever got any money for. I never got anything new until only a few years ago, so through all my years of gaming those guys never saw a dime from me. I also get a lot of cool extras like soundtracks (I have several gigs of MP3s now!), and I'd rather support GOG than pretty much anybody else these days.
Total respect for this as it's same reason why I buy games even if my friends say: "Why do you do this stupid thing? Just Warez it"
Heck no! My career on the Electronic Music industry has taught me to "buy" rather than pirate and works in a very flawless coercive way:
People buy my tracks and help me to get alive on my career, then I get funds on Paypal <=> I use those funds to buy games and help publishers/developers to keep alive and make more games
This is how I could engulf (LOL) my sane addiction Open World 3D RPGs sagas such as Gothic, Risen, Two Worlds, The Elder Scrolls (thumbs up!) and of course cRPGs like the D&D Series.
Everytime I finished one of these games (TES are impossible to finish -you know what I mean LOL-) I felt like something was ripped apart from me u.u </3
LordKuruku: I honestly won't be surprised if I never play all of them. It actually fills you with a sense of guilt, paying over $400 for so many games like that. At least I got most of them on sale. I imagine that feeling of guilt is akin to something Kurina must feel, seeing as she acquired every game to date and didn't have to pay a dime for all the ones she didn't have, and is even less likely to play all of them!
Same here, sometimes I say to myself:
"Let's download a new game to play from the ones I have purchased"
And I read again the Game Store reviews, people reviews, watch Youtube Reviews, etc and at the end it's a always a mess to decide which one to play and after I thought I decided one, I go to check some Mods for some of those games and then when I wake up, I have spent like hours and hours analyzing everything on a game and never played it (Hahaha)
I love my new gamer life...
Really, can anyone just finish one game at a time on these days?
:P
