Some other small-moderate gameplay mechanics tips you might need:

Some skills(different for each class) are either unneeded or hard to figure out what they do or how to use them. Make sure to read the manual or any info on the skills(in documentation or online if need be) before purchasing unneeded skills.

Equipment can and will degrade over time.

Make sure to note down somewhere who asks you to do what side quests, as the game does not track such.

Not so much a tip as a humble suggestion:

Tip a coin or two(just not your whole coin stack...separate it first) to the minstrel's plate in the starting area to hear a pretty decent song. ;)
