Dogmaus: Yes, it's been years since the Back from Hell edition and it's a very good game! It's from the same dev of the more colourful Valfaris.
Valfaris looks amazing. I had no idea it was from the same team.

bluethief: I'm not sure, honestly. I've played it a long time ago and don't remember much of it. And speaking of Blood, I've never played the first one!
Nightmare Levels is an after main game expansion....it can be played by first checking the box on the launcher window that pops up when one launches the game.

bluethief: In these type of games I always do that. I always like to explore things, but thanks for the tip :)
Yeah there are so many things to see and do on the side in that game....paired with all the visual effects stuff (hallucinations and such) it is a really fun time, imo.

Protip(If you didn't know yet): You can press the use key on many things in each area to hear the protagonist talk about things.
I was lucky to buy Commandos Ammo Pack & the bundle for 2+3 for €0.99 and €0.89 respectively a little over two years ago. This was my first purchase from GOG, and the best deal I ever got from their sales. I had never completed the first one back when it was released, and had only played Desperados to completion back in 2002.

Can't recommend it enough! If you're a fan of stealth tactics, and don't mind trial & error/save & reload type of games, make sure to get them. Games like these are the reason I still play video games and prefer interactive entertainment to this day. They force you to plan ahead, problem-solve and switch your game every now and again.

I'd write more if I were able to, but I've already been forcing myself to write the above (yeah, I'm not big on words). Someone get it already!

Edit: clarification in 2nd paragraph.

ı played commandos lots of times. every possible way. even ı dont sure what people said because my english is worse than today. i thought their names was what they said while moving like pokemons. that games have some problems in modern pc. resulation etc. but if you ok with that you enjoy a lot. you feel mastermind. these days most of games are easy just click that click those but commandos is real different feeling.

Unfortunately, I don't have the game anymore. I just checked and both games aren't on sale right now. Maybe next time I'll get them :).

Yeah the hallucinations stress me out sometimes, but they clearly add to the experience.

It's funny that you mention the use key thing, because I learned about that very early, so up until now I've been pressing on almost everything, and been getting a lot of "There's nothing interesting about this", lol.

And if not, then hopefully some kind soul will donate them to the giveaway one day. :)

Good to hear that you seem to be enjoying it(regardless of stress, etc). :)

It's mostly more "important" things like unique signs, people, bodies, "weird"/"scary" looking things, etc, iirc.

Since no one has requested Darkstone over the last few weeks, may I? I've heard from some it's a really "good old game."

If you get it, be sure to install the side missions pack which adds more of the little side mission quests in the game...also that game is so much fun(the pc version, that is). :)
