IMHO, Crookz is the best commandoslike game out there (yes, better than Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun).

However, do note that the game is somewhat buggy (corrupted saves, crashes, disappearing items), so it's wise to have multiple saves. Luckily, IIRC, the game has a good multi-slot autosave scheme of its own, so you pretty much always have a recent autosave to fall back onto.

I heard about technical flaws from one of my mates who played this game a lot (and I only played a demo on Steam), but I think I can handle it. Broken games are my guilty pleasures after all. :D

I also really like the setting of Crookz. Moreover, this games reminds me a little bit of "The Sting!" - one of my favorite games from the early 2000s.

That's quite the statement. Now I'm intrigued; I admit this game completely passed under my radar, if it is as good as you say, that's a shame.
