Notice the URLs. Original pictures have no suffixes, quoted avatars use the (40x40px, subsequently downscaled) and forum avatars the [url=https://images.gog.com/97006f68113077cea401e872a0b21c3c831c919431d8a2f549fe9aee02824295_forum_avatar.jpg]_forum_avatar suffixes (obviously :P).

Therefore, delete the _avm at the end of his quoted avatar and you get the original picture. ;)

There is also bug with avatars since addition of new chat system (partially for Galaxy) that some uploaded avatars (especially in png) never change displaying old one in posts but new one in chat/friendslist but you can bypass that by uploading jpg version of it. Alas it doesn't work for me as you see, I'm stuck with this one forever even if changed it multiple times to something else. ;p

Apparently they don't think it relevant info, if all that's already known and just shrugged off.

Just FYI I am planning to come back next month to ask for Baldur's Gate 3, so hopefully someone's gotten on developing that already.

No. Bethesda buys Baldur's Gate IP and make BG3, but they change it into 1st person free roaming RPG ala fallout 4. But the party you asked? No worries. You still have them. So now instead of one dumb follower, you got five.

Thanks, I hadn't seen that thread :)

Anyway I was half joking. As a developer myself I guess they keep good track of every bug and it's a matter of priorities to fix them.

I'm no developer, but I can't help but question their priorities - see bugs 002a and 002b, and the next three posts from the one I linked - bug 002b is about 2yrs old.

Thank you again! The game is great, though I have to admit that I had to enable targets highlighting to avoid losing some enemies in the giant maps and fly around aimlessly for minutes... :P
