I almost responded with word-parsing, but figured that might be confusing: a "chance" he "could ask" just doesn't follow any sense. It's a question for the self like "am I able to type out a sentence?" as you type out that exact sentence. Hurts the brain. Related is why I stopped phrasing it "I'd like to nominate so and so for such and such"...well hell, drealmer7, if you'd like to nominate them, THEN DO IT!, and now it's "I nominate." or "I'd like to ask for"...well hell, if you'd like to ask for it, then ask for it!
