I would like to ask is it still ok to ask for a game personally or it a nomination from a 3rd member is mandatory now?

I'm pretty sure it was never mandatory, it just happens. A lot.

Like this nomination for Treasure to receive Prehistorik 1+2, for example.

Of course you can still ask for yourself. Making nominations mandatory would be silly and people could just go and ask their friends to nominate them, so doesn't make any sense.
