Adzeth: Yeah. Luckily there was no fracture. My right hand is packaged in those support bandage things now, bright red ones for coolness. Going to have to use the lefty for things for a couple of days.
tinyE: If I may suck up for a second, we REALLY like having you here so do us a favor: next time you suffer an injury, get it looked at and taken care of and THEN make a post about it! I don't want to find out you bled to death because you were busy telling us how hurt you were rather than getting the treatment you need. :-)
It was kind of a stupid situation to begin with. I fainted an hour's walk away from home. I had to walk home to get a phone number so I would know where there's an active first aid hospital thing. After making the call and finding the place on a map, I figured I might as well post that before I had to leave for the hospital on the other side of the city.
It was pretty nice that I didn't hit my head or anything. In the waiting room, next to me was a guy with a big wound on the back of his head, and on the other side a woman with a bleeding eye.
