Journey and Master Mode, golf game, new weather effects - those are only a few features that come along with a large update for Terraria titled Journey’s End. Changes were also made in character and world creation menu, as well as in balancing some of the enemies’ strengths and weaknesses.
Announcement right on time. Come on, galaxy, now give me the update!

Linux installers part 1 and part 2 both point to the same file.
I suggest a sale! ;-)

It’s lucky you put out a release message, it’s the only way to know if something updated now or not.
Why is the Linux update 3x the size of the Windows update?

Update:
It looks like for some reason the update was posted twice for Linux. "Part 1 and Part 2" are the same file.

Has achievement support been added yet?
So what does "Journey" mode do?
Nice! Thanks. :D
I have only one question - must the character and world selection screen be this big?
Or, if it doesn't - is there a way to scale it down? UI scalling slider does not work for these.

IronArcturus: So what does "Journey" mode do?
its a bit of a mix of an "easy" and "creative" type mode - you get boosted start gear, can duplicate items etc.

characters made for it are locked to journey mode.

Tossed the relevant bit of the included changelog.txt up for anyone who wants to take a look.

My understanding is that it's the equivalent of the 'creative mode' that many survival/building games are doing these days, i.e. cheats enabled but no bragging rights for doing stuff. The main patch notes specifically mention item duplication and weather control, not sure if it offers the usual infinite health and resources.

Thanks for the info!
