Count me among their fans. They are amazing.
I saw them live in Sao Paulo about 5 years ago, but my cell phone by that time hadn't an exactly awesome camera and my battery was utter shit so I didn't record more than... I dunno, four songs?

Still, once they started All for One I said battery be damned, nothing afterwards can top it. My cell died as soon as the song ended and I didn't regret one bit :)

Christian Metal

I never liked that cheesy "christian metal" band but i found them quite funny back in the day. :D

They were just in my hometown a couple weeks ago. I was surprised they were still performing!

Pretty cool to see other fans of Stryper on here! I remember seeing them way back on the Soldiers Under Command tour - and really digging their show. I've caught them pretty much anytime they come to San Diego (or if I am feeling crazy enough, Los Angeles too... though a few years ago, I didn't care for the House of Blues venue up in LA...) Heh. I love people who have that view. I listen to everything from Metallica, Megadeth, Savatage, Dream Theater, and have listened to Heavy Metal since the 80's - and I see absolutely no problem with "Christian Metal."

Do you think that Heavy Metal is the opposite of Christian? Is it Satanic in your eyes? Otherwise, why can't it be "Christian Metal" too - it's a branch of music. Still around, and still rocking pretty hard. Check out the Yewah video and see how crazy Robert Sweet is still on the drums.

Probably very few here because the band is religious/Christian. But thanks for sharing!

But I am not religious/Christian myself, but still immensely enjoy the music they produce.
