Stedmister: Come on give me a free game already gog.
Keep trying...they're out there. Some are more fortunate than others. 1/95 (or 1%) over here. So it is possible!

lowtechgeek: I bought it 'cause I wanted to try it for cheap/free. I'm looking for a decent Diablo II clone while I wait for Diablo III to stabilize. Does Torchlight really suck that bad?!
Ah, sorry - misunderstanding. The reason we older members comment the way we do about Torchlight is because it was given for free here on GOG quite some time ago (maybe even a year ago, don't remember exactly), i.e. everybody and their cat got it. Lots of folks stocked up on gift-codes for it and some still have a hard time giving them away. I myself got only two back then, gave one to a friend and gifted the other one only recently in a giveaway as I had forgotten that I still had one.

You are going to enjoy it, no worries.
i really need to read faster, took me way to long to get up to the latest messages here. everytime i thought i was there, two more pages were added...

Jennifer: I played Torchlight a few years ago and I thought it was really fun, although it was not well-balanced. The different character classes didn't seem even in terms of overall strength. Also the difficulty curve was a bit weird (most of the game was fairly easy and then the last little bit was absurdly difficult). But it's still worth playing if you want a fun hack-and-slash game without a deep story.
Yes, it's rather easy. I like to play games on easier settings, but this one was too easy even for me. And I didn't like the missing end. Or did I miss the end? Anything else was fun.

Edit: Well, the fishing sometimes was a bit annoying ...

omegaunit, I cannot thank you enough for the gift code!

I swear I only fell asleep for a moment and whoosh, Inquisitor was gone.
I'll certainly have fun with it! :D
I really have to go to bed now ^^; So I would like to say good night to you all and good luck! With the amount of deadlines here unfortunately I can't afford to stay up any longer.
Though if anyone see these games come by:
- Gobliiins Pack
- Jack Keane 2: The Fire Within (Though I'm not sure if this one will actually come by again)
- Leisure Suit Larry: Love for Sail
- Sam & Max Beyond Time and Space
Could anyone get a key for me? I'm willing to trade for one of the giftable key's I gathered during the sale or any other game of choice (around the same price). The first 3 I'm actually keeping an eye on for a good friend of mine, not for my self. :)

Good night everyone! I'll try to tune in every once in a while. During an insomnia sale you can't really sleep that well ;)

011284mm: *Slumps over exhausted*

How do you get a French man to go to sleep?

He has been sat on Facebook since I returned from work (I should not complain as I have mostly been here), but he speaks out every thing he reads, and is now sitting on my bed (the sofa) unwilling to go to the guest bedroom.
I have already pointed out the time and even killed the power to the laptop so he is now only on battery, but he just keeps going. ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... ..... Oh the inhumanity! I think he is trying psychological warfare with me... ... ... ... ... ...

Even the guinea pigs playing in their cage are quieter then he is... ... ... ... ... ...

Only good thing right now is that I just found out my brother bought me Papers Please from the sale when I was at work. YAY!!

*Slumps even further*
"... sat on Face[book]" <snicker*> (so tired)

Going to Germany for my sister's wedding, and at the same time a band that I'm friends with is touring Europe and Denmark will be a stop on our way from The Netherlands to Sweden. I'm be doing merchandise for those guys if all goes as planned.
Ah Torchlight. Sweet memories of my pet selling stuff for me and going fishing together. Some weird creatures we would catch.. and there's Torchlight 2 to get to... eventually.
Woo! slept all night, woke up and Shadow Man is still on the list. Only one left on my To Get list...

Spectrum_Legacy: Not enough funds left - paypal wallet cried for mercy. Too bad... Anyone willing to swap copy of QFG for Star control 1+2 & Smugglers V? Cheers anyway!

omegaunit: check yo PMs dude
I humbly salute you good Sir! If anyone is particularly interested in Star Control 1+2 or Smugglers V, let me know.

IAmSinistar: This is exactly right. It's a competent Diablo clone that is fun in its own right. It's just that GOG had a promotion with tons of free codes, so it's become one of those titles that litter the forums with people trying to unload spares (or trade them for games perceived to be of higher value). Some other GOG freebies were The Witcher, Dungeon Keeper, and (just before they were removed) the Fallout games.
avatar
lowtechgeek: Well, I only joined GOG last month, and already I've paid for all of these games now, albeit only 1.5 USD each, so I can't complain too hard. They all seem like great games. Have started a few; haven't completed any yet. I'm loving this site, this community, and CDPR!
Welcome to the place where us GOG'ers are extremely generous. Are very knowledgeable and never cuss or rage about anything. And if we do rage, we rage very civilised and well spoken. We write an essay with deep research and good arguements when we disagree about what GOG does. GOG then listens to us and says: Sorry we were wrong. The customer is always right.

Ask him for Danish Remoulade and Leverpostej served with raspberry lemonade and koldskal. You will see the most ultimate face expression of your life.

Sounds cool. Will you be making the merchandise or selling it? And what band is it?
