markuspeltonen: Is Aarklash on sale often, or was this the first time? I'd never heard of the game, and I missed the first round while finding out about the game, and subsequently I missed the second and third rounds, when I actually would have bought it due to things like sleeping and working.

Is it likely that that title is coming on sale soon again, or is it just too new?

Also, my first post on these forums. Hi, everyone!
Welcome and congrats on your first post, Arklash first appeared on sale in luck of the irish promo if I am not mistaken. It is relatively new but it has been on two promos already so it may appear again in later sales as well. :)

truhlik77: Which one is better: Beyond Time and Space or The Devil’s Playhouse? Have funds only for one.
Thanks

Shambhala: Any theories on why Telltale's games are so overpriced?
I'm wondering about Telltale as well, this particular one has a nominal price of $35 even though it's four years old, i.e. any costs/ expensed have been covered by now. I suspect that it isn't selling that much at its nominal price, yet during this Sale, they put 1,500 copies up for $3.5. Are expected to believe the game makes a loss?

Hi there o/

No idea :)

Narcia_: Basically, my rule is not to buy it if I wouldn't want to play it.
That's exactly the rule I use - the problem is I'd like to play so many things....

I hope you're expecting a long retirement and adding some choice items from the sale (plus having fun, of course!) ;)
Do they ever release the data about which games sold the fastest, and how many copies? Just curious.

Forgot to ask...did you pick up SQ when it swung by a little bit ago?
For people on the fence on S&M the Devil's Playhouse here's my spoilerfree 2 cents:

The third season had slightly more detailed graphics and a different puzzle mechanic where you "possess" items which also leads to this season being more puzzle oriented and a bit harder in that regard. But then again; the first 2 seasons were really easy.
Storywise I found it better than the first 2 but a bit less funny but it more than makes up for it with the the story later on.
Also the seasons can be enjoyed on their own and you will only miss out on some injokes and light character continuity.
So all in all; if you liked one of the first two seasons, you"ll like this one

No problem. I could decided which to tell people to get so why not gift one so you can play it all.

Shambhala: 35$ is a little much...

Telika: But compared to what ? To the "normal price" of a single adventure game (as opposed to a pack of five) ? To the "normal price" of indies discounted to dust in bundles ?...

A "normal price", for a single (and often bad) computer game, is usually around $60.
Compared to what I am used to pay nowadays.
Which probably isn't a fair comparison, but it makes sense from my viewpoint as it's only natural to compare a product to the ones you already know.
I may agree with you that the current digital market devalues games, but keeping an high price only to have a higher discount percentage is just playing along.

Edit: spelling.
