Since you won't be selling Opus Magnum because "it looks too much like a mobile game", I purchased it DRM free from Humble.

How could GOG lose a sale on something they don't sell? Don't get me wrong, I often find GOG's choice of what games to selll and what to reject highly questionable to say the least, but that's some pretty iffy logic right there. You could as well say that GOG lost a sale when I ordered a pizza at Pizza Hut and not on GOG :P

Would you prefer I called it a "potential sale" instead?

Fact is, if gog had chosen to sell it here, I would have bought it here. They chose not to, so I didn't buy it here. However you look at it, it's a lost sale.

Not to mention the fact that GoG already carries many other Zachtronics titles, including the sorta-mobile-looking SpaceChem. These games are cerebral, very highly regarded, and made by a small but dedicated studio--exactly the sort of game that GoG should be picking up.

I'd wait for some further clarification before getting out the pitchforks, but it seems GoG's decision making is baffling here. This is not the first time they've made bizarre curation decisions.

I guess they just tossed that as an excuse because they didn't just want to say "Sorry I am not interested right now." Its lame and I am not defending gog on this matter, but just trying to understand :P

Especially when GOG sells TripleTown, which is a PC port of a game originally for Kindle!

Maybe that's exactly why they decided not to sell this game. What if sales of Triple Town are very bad, to the point it costs more to have this game in the store than they do from sales?

This can't be true. Seriously, what the hell? Maybe it's some sort of stupid misunderstanding? They wouldn't just do it to a dev of so well received puzzle games?

In GOG's defense, the dev didn't explicitly confirm that the game was refused (although it strongly suggests as such). Maybe there's something neither side is telling us.
