Just like good times.

Pathfinder: Kingmaker, is now, DRM-free on GOG.com.
The massive Pathfinder tabletop universe now finally summoned into the body of a team-based, isometric RPG in the vein of the unforgettable D&D classics of yore. Build your character from 14 distinct classes, interact with quirky NPCs and fascinating companions (crafted with contributions from none other than Chris Avellone) as you forge your destiny in the turbulent Stolen Lands. With great power come great ruling opportunities, and the kind of king you'll become shall hinge on your alignment, leading skills, and allies.

Grab the Imperial, Royal, or Noble Edition for the juicy extras.

Note: The Mac and Linux versions will be available soon.
Tell me how this game is y'all.
I would also very much like to know how the game plays. Hopefully someone can give a detailed gameplay account.
Looks promising, I really shouldn't but maybe I will make myself a birthday gift... :S will see how the reviews will go.
This looks nice and the description is intriguing.
(a troll that stops eating people and starts reading books instead? - Awesome!)

Never played the Pathfinder TT, but a few years ago I played the Card game...it was nice.

On the wishlist this goes.

Edit: typo

Curious to hear how Infinity-esque it is.

Odd - thread not yet showing up in via the forum.

I just hope it's not an empty promise (like with Bard's Tale IV). Can't wait to play the game.
Played the first level at GamesCom and because of that it instantly made my Wishlist.

Just now I'm only waiting for reviews about how it holds up in the later parts of the game but I'm pretty sure that I'll buy it soon enough

I'm kinda sad that they make portraits part of the deluxe editions since that was one of my main problems with the demo: You can choose quest-NPC-portraits without knowing before (how should you) and if you remove those, the pools seems to be rather small (only guessing by the fact that I already saw multiple available portraits in the first level)...
My character had the same portrait as another NPC in the tutorial which kinda sucked

I'm surprised so few seem to have chanced this one - it's looking to have the potential to be the best of new IE-type CRPGs. I backed it and will be downloading a bit later, after a nap... I'm excited enough that I'm having trouble sleeping - I should be fast asleep right now!

But after several disappointing crowdfunded games of the type, and given the state of the industry in general, I can understand waiting for reviews. The fact that it's Pathfinder - a fork of D&D 3.5 made possible by the OGL, set in its own fantasy universe - is what tipped the scales for me. I'm stoked for some oldschool alignments - True Neutral, Chaotic Good, Lawful Evil... which will be first? :)

At least they're consistent! haha. Oh wait, that's not consistent, since it's not all threads. Maybe they're consistently inconsistent.

Later saw it under the "Topics I've participated in" section. Weird bug. Hopefully they'll get it sorted, at least for this thread concerning a major release.

The game seems to be heavily bugged... just downloaded my preordered imperial version, and cant pass main menu: it is empty, and while i can click on options, no text its displayed whatsoever, except in the credits.

Yesterday, two of the four editions were right on the top of the Popular list here at GOG, the other two were in the first 25. Today, Explorer edition is 27th. GOG's programming clearly has issues with pre-orders and with full release reset the count. People wishlisting in this thread are just a part of the community; those who pre-ordered or instabought are probably busy downloading, clearing more free disk space and playing.
Does it work here? On steam there's plenty of people who can't start the game (it's either crashing or not loading properly), it seems like a serious issue.

Blues? Have you tested it? Does it work? Can I buy it safely?
No achievement support?
