Old World - Wrath of Gods introduces natural disasters to the base game in the form of nine calamities ranging from devastating droughts to map-changing earthquakes.. And it’s now out on GOG, with a -10% launch discount until March 17th, 5 PM UTC!

Adapt to them and use them to your advantage, or watch your empire crumble under the forces of nature. Meanwhile, the playable kingdom of Aksum comes with its own leaders, character traits, units, projects, and buildings, and the new Wrath of Gods scenario features a multitude of unique mechanics to tell the mythical tale of a nation’s founding under the watchful eyes of its gods.

Now on GOG!
Speaking of godly wrath:

Wrath of the Gods (1994) (Gameplay)
Glad to see this one released. The devs put a lot of love into Old World, take good care of the GOG version and even post in the game-specific subforum. Old Wold has been filling the Civilization gap lately. It's been some time since a new faction was added so this will surely spice up my conquests.

More to a great game! Behind the Throne [specifically] was a bit weak (better since many patches though).

Purchased! Plan to play Friday.

Not mentioned in the post: Base game and all the other DLCs are on sale now too. Get them if you like TBS. Who needs Civ when you have Old World?

At the time, I bought the "Old World: Complete" edition for quite a lot of money (€55.49), because I like the game and because Civilization 5+6 probably won't appear here anyway.

Today there is a DLC for it and it seems that you don't get it if you bought the Complete Edition.

What do I think?

So disappointing that I'm putting off the next purchases until I've saved up the difference for this game. :( :( :(

Am I prepared to pay a little more for DRM-free?
Yes, it's worth it to me!

Am I prepared to wait longer for DRM-free games?
Yes, because I have chosen my preferred site.

Am I prepared to buy games in bulk that I probably won't be able to play?
Yes, that gives me a great selection.

But I just find it disappointing to buy complete or ultimate compilations and then afterwards a paid DLC is offered. I feel like I'm being taken for a ride.

This has made this publisher lose some of my trust. I haven't bought much from him yet, but let's see what's on my wish list...

Against the Storm + DLC
Empires of the Undergrowth
Manor Lords
Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew Complete Edition
Terra Invicta
Xenonauts 2

Well, Hooded Horse, we'll see us again when your disconts are 75% off or more. :-(

So now I've been annoyed enough and would rather play.

You really can't trust any kind of "complete" or "definitive" subtitle, nowadays if a game is moderately successful it *will* get more content and you bet the devs won't add it to their "complete" edition

That's not to say you shouldn't support a game you like ofc, but yeah it's more of a marketing thing

Or invent Science and pump state funds to it. Took us ~25 centuries to realize it's the way to go.
And BTW, many, many thanks to Ancient Greece. Not that familiar with Ancient China because I'm Europe-based; guess the region puts China at the spot.

You need to check Epic, where OW was originally released. Better prices than Ste*m. Robust website and server support.
