IronArcturus: Nice to see that MissionForce: CyberStorm is finally on GOG! Does it have Direct IP Multiplayer?

Also, will we see the sequel or other Sierra games like Hunter Hunted?
It doesn't say exactly, but there are two separate options for multiplayer - hot-seat (called also as "hot-seat or play by e-mail"), and "normal" multiplayer (I've found only info that it's "internet" multiplayer, but nothing more - guess it's direct IP then).

Sadly, it seems that "online" multiplayer is not working in GOG version (or I'm missing something in my system?), because I'm receiving this error when I'm trying to launch it:

Anyone know if you can play it without that menu at the top and in any widescreen resolution?
What?????!?!? YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!
Aww yeah. Now this is good stuff. Hope the sequel can be added as well eventually.
Yes! This is a great game to see on GOG, and one I've been hoping for for a long time :)
Hopefully the second one will arrive at some point
Once again a release of an apparently good, old game. Good job, GOG!

But looking at the screenshots, is the game really turn-based? No hexes, no grid, it looks more like a real-time strategy game.

gmx: Well, I am happy, but this raises a question:

Now that cybrids invaded gog - Earthsiege 1,2 an Starsiege - when?
I remember that the IP rights for the Earthsiege, Starsiege, and Tribes series were all tied up and in limbo due to he closure of both Dynamics and Sierra. For a time some fans of that series were able to get permission to distribute those older games, but that deal seems like that's been rescinded. I really hope that gets resolved eventually, because those games were some of the first computers games I found and were long time favorites. Especially the original Earthsiege. I had that on CD, but I never had the expansion pack. :/

Swedrami: Seconded, especially since the legacy Tribes games aren't available for download any longer.
They were about 4 years ago on https://www.tribesuniverse.com which now returns 404.

Joeqbr: Oh, I didn't even know that they were taken offline. Damn, should've downloaded Earthsiege 1&2 (already have Starsiege and Tribes: Vengeance physically.

The freeware release of Starsiege was also pretty poor, it was missing music and wasn't compatible with the fanmade installer for moder system.
Dang, I only got around to downloading those a couple of months ago. Glad I did, although I think it would be good for GOG to get them and create proper installers for them because getting them running was a pain in the ass.
Oh my goodness! :O

I've been waiting for this one for years! I still own the disc...and that opening cinematic!

I'm loving this release :)

I wonder if there's a chance for CyberStorm 2: Corporate Wars, Starsiege, or Tribes?

Thanks for this release!

Thank you so much to those responsible for making this happen. It's been a long time coming & hopefully more games in the series make an appearance soon. Excellent work!
Awesome and instant purchase!

By the way, is there a proper manual for the game somewhere? All I see is an installation guide.

hunter hunted was my first thought as well. I have a big box copy but gog would be more convenient. and it'd probably not take my entire c:\ drive with it during uninstall, as sierra games of the time would often do (removed everything from the folder they were in, so \games\hunted deleted everything under \games for some reason).
Games of this vintage tend to use a lot of APIs that aren't well-implemented in wine. This game seems to work fine, though. So far.

As with most such games, it's possible to turn the hex grid on or off, and the screenshots are with the option off. Still, it's pretty obvious even from the screenshots when you see hex-shaped terrain.

Also, yes, it is definitely turn-based.

Yes, it is - there are hexes, if you look at the screenshots more closely (more along the coastlines and such), and the grid as such, if I remember correctly was toggle-able.

Cool unfortunately I'm very tight on money ATM but when I have some I'm definitely getting this. Hopefully the sequel and the setting's Seige games come soon
