Runaway train never going back.

Fear Equation, a first-person strategy game about managing a fright train, is available now DRM-free on GOG.com for Windows and Mac with a 25% launch discount.

There is something unnervingly wrong about the fog that has recently engulfed the world of Fear Equation. It doesn't just make people assume their greatest horrors are hidden within. It actually brings them to life.

A thundering locomotive penetrates this nightmarish barrier - heading towards rumored safety, seeking refuge for its one hundred and fifty forlorn passengers. You are at the helm of that train and your job is to plan the course, manage supplies, and handle all the unexpected occurrences that threaten to derail your mission. Remember: these people are your responsibility but they are not your allies. If you are to keep them safe, you must first keep them out.

Make sure you reach your destination and solve this Fear Equation, DRM-free on GOG.com. The 25% discount will last until January 22, 1:59 PM GMT.
Never heard of this game before.
Sounds interesting. Let's see how the reviews will be.
Ok, this kind of slipped under my radar. Hm, have to research it a bit.

Edit: Ah, a game from devs of Zafehouse Diaries and Deadnaut. Should be interesting.

I don't think so since GOG gave us some variety yesterday.
Horror with some atmosphere instead of just jump scares, oh yeah definitely getting this one!
low rated
Interesting, I may look into it (once it's fairly priced :P).

Never heard of that one either, wait for reviews, guys.
Previous games were fun...
Looks really neat!

I like the idea of these games a lot. I still have yet to pick up Deadnaut - I tried the demo and it didn't quite "click" but I'm willing to blame that on "User Issues" - the game felt super deep and at the time I was just bouncing in to check out what it was like whilst devoting my gaming time to whatever I was playing at the moment. Translation: I didn't give the game nearly its due.

This one seems like it continues to refine the style of the genre and do it in a unique atmosphere so it has me interested.

And I too had no clue this game existed / was on the way. Pleasant surprise.
Looks interesting, never heard of it though.
Of course with the regional pricing it'll never be an 'instabuy', but I'd like to see some reviews and such before I'd consider it anyway.
why there's no linux version?
there were linux demos of "fear equation" during development...
when i saw the screenshots i thought: Zafehouse Diaries in a train?
some photo's look like some style in the Zafehouse Diaries games.

Too bad about the FPP , story sounds interesting, looks like some managment/survival aswell...
i like that, but the 3d FPP part messed up...

besides, the required gpu is 2-3 times better (maybe more) then mine so it would run bad or not at all, so its good its fpp this way i wont miss out on a possible good game, cause the idea and environment/story sounds good.
There are lots of new games and upcoming games 15 tot 20 in all, kinda sad that none of these fit me (motion/photosensitivy/fpp/3d)

Hmmm reminds me of playing Rebuild a little, except on a train....

This might be a horror game i'd get and try...
Looks like Zafehouse: Diaries hits the rails. Pretty dang cool concept! I love trains, and I love horror games. Wishlisted for now, but I may cave before the end of the day and snap it up.
