Nice touch of a Daemon at end of trailer! And I thought I watched a trailer in vain.
Very nice to see some of the Hellraid-Project ending up as a DyingLight DLC. But I´ll wait for some reviews folding in...
It's making me hopeful we'll see DL2 here
the graphics appear quite bad compared to the main game
Huh. So that's what became of Hellraid.
Caved in because I absolutely love Dying Light. Played this morning for about 30 minutes and... so far, meh.

It's not bad, it's just... I don't know, bland?

I mean, I was excited seeing a game taking the path of Borderlands 2's Tiny Tina DLC.

But here, there's absolutely no clue of even the smallest hint of a scenario. Where am I going? What am I supposed to do? Most of the time it is "find the lever to that door - clean the room from the enemies".

Meh.
For those that don't know, this was revealed years ago (before Dying Light iirc) as it's own stand-alone game but Techland seemingly shelved it for other things. Since they had the assets lying around I guess they thought, why not use them?

This is something you don't always see -- DLC for a game, created from content made for another, cancelled game.

No matter how good or bad this DLC may be, the fact that techland has not neglected GoG users is the biggest plus that there is! Thanks techland!

Hell, even if you don't buy the DLC they still gave us 10gb worth of content!

zombies are so lame
So is there anything new added to the game in this expansion or is it just a medieval dungeon skin over the same game?

From the description it is a subgame, nothing to do with the main game. I have brought it and will try it shortly.

Your only mission is to kill things in Hell. Isn't that enough?

I mean, in the original Doom you also didn't have more than that to do, did you?

Right, so had a quick go this morning. Essentially once you have done the prologue of the main game, an arcade machine appears in the main building. If you use that you end up in a totally separate dungeon to kill lots of beasts. In there you can earn tokens which unlock some weapons when your back in the main game. That is the only change to the main game as far as I can see, the rest is totally separate.

In terms of is it worth it, it’s not something like the following, ie not a big expansion to the game, more of a subgame. It’s quite fun and there are new enemies. But it is linear move through rooms and eradicate all enemies, so not open world or anything. For £7, the probably ok if you like the main game, or wait for a sale as it doesn’t add much.
