GOG.com: Release: Blocky Farm
Seems as if something was blocking the way into the forum for the last three hours...
Woah, this game looks so familiar, I just can't quite remember where I've seen this exact style before!

The voxel animals bring back my memories of playing Cube World. The actual game in comparison? Not so much.

No offense devs , but when i first saw the voxel graphics , it reminded me to Crossy Road .
I see the cat you put there.... but I'm too tired to decide if I want this game or not (even though there's a cat) just because I stayed up late finishing Epistory and misread the title for this thread as "Release: Bloody Farm."
Is there a name for this artstyle? Not hating, just curious.
Does anybody know if Blocky Farm runs on Win 7 or Win 8.1?
Has anybody tested it yet?
Thanks.

Voxel art.
Okay. This game is a hard pass even though there's a cat. The issue is entirely that this is one of those freemium mobile games ported to PC where the motorization involves the customer purchasing in-game currency. The ratings on the mobile stores that are not gushing about how this is the greatest thing ever say how actually earning currency in this game is quite challenging and actual features have been coming soon for over a year. One mobile review implies that this is more of a clicker game and not nearly as interactive as the trailers imply.

Oh and this game is also sold on Steam, so no going "GOG bad."

Maybe "Forever Entertainment" should finish his "The Mansion" first, before I buy another game from this studio. :-/
