While I love the genre of dystopian games, I have negative feeling about lack of care.
I own Beholder 1 + DLC and Beholder 2 and played it under GNU/Linux.
The lack of care - sequel being not a real update (using Unity 2018.2.6f1 - while the prequel
stayed on Unity 2018.2.6f1) - and now the 3rd sequel it is just a Windows game and even
on Steam it is said to have only partial Controller support is striking.
Most money for least effort - good for making money, bad if you enjoy playing games for
longer than a few weeks.
I am out if no native GNU/Linux port is provided - and additionally I really enjoy playing
with controller and even in game were a mouse is appropriate I do hate it.
So the 3rd part - which seems to be developed by other people - is nothing for me
if these fact stay valid.
I am a technical person and was angry about 32 bit sold in 2016 (well, there are announcements
even in 2020 for pure 32 bit games!) - I am currently of the opinion that controller support
is mandatory for every game - concerning accessibility, for hot seat multiplayer in front of a
big screen, for avoiding muscle tension ...
But each gamer can make up his/her mind - this is just my personal opinion based on some facts.
