Yeah, at the very least they should've commented what do they disliked.

It wasn't me . I just asked which ... gave the game 1 star right after the release .
Nice! Been waiting for this one.

Anyone wants any early impressions or has questions let me know - I'll be cracking a few cold ones and firing it up tonight.

After being a bit underwhelmed by Stygian, I'm hoping this scratches that itch (I realize this is more tactical and Stygian was closer to "actual" RPG).

Post your impressions right away, I'm really on the fence with this game.

What I need to know is: Is it linear or a sandbox? Is there any sort of procedural content? (eg: even if, say, the overworld is not procedural, are missions and enemies random?)

Nice :)
I'll look forward to seeing your review up.
I'm picking up a copy but I won't be able to play for awhile myself so it'll be nice to have the option of a taste in the mean time.

Screenshot 8 shows the world map. The game is open world, you can travel where you can. Story is linear, but you can take on these missions (main quests and side quests) in order you see fit.
There are also some random missions and events you can come across while travelling. We want to expand on this aspect (free roaming and random mission/events) with future updates.

The story missions maps (levels) have the same layout each campaign, but the monsters are randomized to a degree (different actions, sometimes different composition).

I have not bought this game yet (I would actually like to wait until the discount is off so I can buy it full price and support them fully). However, from what I saw come together in the Prologue, it will definitely get a buy from me.

That aside, I wanted to point out that these developers released this game on Steam AND GoG at the same time.
Instabuy, thank you :)

Is the prologue added to the base game or you still have to purchase it separately?

Tarhiel,

The Prologue, in this case, is available for free and was released a few months ago on GoG. I do not know if they include it with your purchase of the full game.

If I had to describe it, it is more like a demo with some tweaking to make it stand out by itself. It is probably something that can be completed in 30 minutes.

Please enjoy the game!
