Can anyone tell me why I'm having such a hard time getting a cash refund back to original payment method.

I've sent off 3 e-mails to support asking for a cash refund back to original payment method, Only to have gog reply with
the following with every response.

"We have received your refund request! ⠀
Before we can proceed further, we require an additional confirmation from you. Please note that your ticket will be
marked as Pending until we hear back from you.

Please confirm if a conversion to GOG Wallet funds, which you could use towards any future purchase on our service,
would be satisfactory for you. These funds are assigned immediately and they never expire. You can read more about
the GOG Wallet here."

I've given confirmation that I do not want gog wallet funds, but a cash refund.

PS I'm not abusing the refund system. This is my first purchase that i'm using the option.

There is a pandemic. And a major release. There will be delays. Be patient.
You might want to send a couple more emails to support. Surely that'll speed things up.
You'll have to wait. It's not automated like Steam.

So because of a pandemic gog can't automate an e-mail response. Saying you're refund will be processed over the next
few days back to the original method of payment?

Yeah don't agree with that at all.

All I was after was a confirmation that, Yes you're refund will processed back to the original method of payment.

I don't know about you, But getting a response about gog credit sort of throws me off.
I requested a refund during the Black Friday Sale and I received an automated email asking for confirmation which was like the replies you have received by now. After making your decision they will handle the ticket manually and send you another email when they have triggered the refund. In my case it took 2 days to complete the whole progress. Hope this could help you.

A person has to process that ticket. Sorry that their staff is working from home and therefore a bit more limited, and there is a lot happening. The world doesn't revolve around you. It revolves around me.

Thank you PhyCX that does help. Shame that gog couldn't include that in the first automated response, it's nice to
actually be informed of the process. Wouldn't of sent off multiple e-mails if that was included.

Cheers PhyCX for actually posting helpful info.
