Esmeralda95: I think this sale could mean:

10 year anniversary sale is coming or they are going to show something related to Cyberpunk 2077 soon.
Very obvious that it's the second thing. We are supposed to see CP77 Gameplay in 1 hours and 20 minutes on their Twitch Site.

Its either that or the Witcher has been assimilated in to the Borg Collective.

Also, when will there be cyberpunk 2077 preorders?
I was cynical myself of all the love the series got. Particularly having not played much of W1 (owning W1 & W2) BUT but after spending 160 hours on W3 (only just started the Ugly Baby quest at the beginning of Act 2) I can say that I feel my money was well spent.

Admittedly I spent the first 10-15 hours thinking why the hell did I buy this game. What on earth was mkaing people go so gaga about it, but over time I got swept up by it.

I've spent my time exploring, plugging away at Contracts, Treasure Hunts, Secondary quests, general exploring and the world just feels "alive" in a way that any Bethesda game hasn't.

Yeah you can see the framework, the boundaries of the game. It isn't even difficult (even on level 3 difficulty that I've been playing at) but its actually been ... fun.

And I feel like continuing to plug away at it.

Its easily been worth the 20-25 euros I paid for it.
Interesting that they blend cyberpunk & witcher like that in the image. It's a nice link to what was said in the Witcher by Ciri.
something to do with nvidia rtx launching & cyberpunk gameplay being publicly available. methinks i get cyberpunk with new gpu.

wish i could gog connect my copy of the adventure game but alas. gog has nothing to do with the witcher franchise. might aswell wish for a barrel of grog for all the good it'll do me.

Huh whut?

GOG and CDProject are intimately tied. Why do you think GOG has nothing to do with the Witcher (game) Franchise?

Heck one of the quests (The Tower Outta Nowheres) has you working to remove a DRM spell (Defensive Regulatory Magicon) with the help of a GOG spellbook (Gottfried's Omni-Opening Grimoire) :)

sarcasm guy, sarcasm. they allow their big games to be transferred from steam (w1 & w2) but not the adventure game. been waiting a long time. it's not worth buying twice but, it would kill some time and save me from logging in all the time.
Is there any way to have the DLC and base game also marked as 'Owned'? I got the GOTY edition of Witcher 3 in the summer sale, but the base game, DLC, and expansion passes are being shown as not owned. For comparison, Hollow Knight's soundtracks edition marks the base game and both soundtracks as owned.
*eyes list*

I don't suppose there's a way to "upgrade" my base game, that I purchased ages ago, downloaded for my records but never even installed yet, for the "Game of the Year" edition that is the exact same price?

Yeah, don't suspect so.

This is why I tend not to purchase new games very often. By the time I get around to playing them (which will likely still be a few years for Witcher 3) I feel completely robbed with the price I paid for the thing... *sighs*

Oh well, congrats to those who didn't support the game early and instead get rewarded with free DLC.

EDIT: Attached the image, since some areas apparently don't have them listed at exactly the same price.

Way to go, CD Project!
so... witcher 3 has no longer regional pricing (ukraine)? base price became
$40 while it was $20 on release (and now on steam with no discount).. disappointed

EDIT: false alarm )) wrong price caused by f*cking vpn we have to workaround censorship in internet

Phew... Geralt isn't plastered all over the front page, so there is a small chance we might still see an interesting release this week.
