bhrigu: Wasn't the release date 7th Feb?
It also says that on the store page.

robitstudios: We're opening up early access to everyone who's pre-ordered. We hope that letting the fans have the game a little early will help generate some buzz and it's a good way to test the game with a larger audience before our official launch on the 7th.
The Robit ident at the beginning is all screwed up on my machine. The entire screen is robot face coloured and only the robot's facial features are displayed on top of it, everything else is buried under the blue.

I haven't played much yet but it also slowed right down at one point. Might try dropping the resolution, but my I've never come across a 2D game that I couldn't play at 1080p on this computer at a decent frame rate...

First of all, congratulations on your work. I know that you'll have other more important problems at the moment, such as bug fixation of the game, but I wanted to ask you if you will add the achievements on GOG, since on Steam at the moment they are already reported.
Now it should be much easier to implement them on Galaxy and I'm sure they would make many players happy. Surely you would have my pre-order if you could promise to add them, even after the release. Thank you!

seppelfred: I had fun with it for about an hour, then it crashed. Anyone else having troubles with the game, or is it just me?
Are you using Windows 10? If so can you try turning on Game Mode? Here' s a guide: treasureadventurewiki.com/Help:Windows_10_Game_Mode

SCPM: I haven't had any problems with the pre-release version so far, I just got past Golemy. Despite the new aesthetic, it still has all the charm of the original. :) Not to say that I don't like the new look, Fetalstar did a great job. :)

Edit: And now I did have one issue. Right after the Museum Island I sailed east and encountered the pirate ship. Once it runs out of cannon balls, it sails west and pushes me off-screen. When I sail east again, the boss fight repeats, but I appeared on the opposite side of the ship, and again after the fight, it pushes me this time east into the island, and my boat gets stuck in the 'negative space' of the island.
This bug has been reported and fixed. The build that comes out on Feb 7th will have this solved. Thanks!

We've seen users with similar issues have a performance increase by using Windows 10 Game Mode feature.

We have already implemented GOG achievements! However we've been having problems with getting the GOG overlay to play nice with our video cutscenes. Either way the achievements are working!

Fantastic, I've just bought the game and I have to say that there's also a lot of them, you guys are great!
GOG should add the respective tag, because if someone doesn't read here can't know that they are implemented.

I'm using Windows 7. But it might have nothing to do with the game. My system crashed 3 times yesterday while running other programs. I think I re-install Win7 and see if that solves the problem. :) But thanks for the reply!

I'm afraid it doesn't, as I'm on Windows 8.1...

Ok, we can cross that off the list then. :P

What CPU do you have? Has changing the screen resolution helped at all?
There are some setting in the options menu for turning down effect and particles. Does that help?

Oh yeah, dropping the resolution definitely helped. It was just weird that comparable games seem to run a lot more smoothly. I'm actually more concerned about the rendering error I mentioned before - the ident in the intro. If it's getting that wrong then I'm a little worried that problem will crop up further into the game.
Has anyone tried running the game in Wine? Just curious.
https://www.gog.com/game/treasure_adventure_world says the OST comes as both MP3 and FLAC, but only MP3 shows up in the library. Is the FLAC version coming later?

I will look into this and get back to you.

Edit: The FLAC version is now available to download.
