Actually if someone gifts you a game, it might be a spare key they already had, or they might specifically bought the game for you. Basically you can post your wishlist and/or most wanted here and if someone wants to gift you a game they will then know what to get you.
Just a suggestion: you might want ot keep your requests somewhat reasonable and also interact in other threads on the forum, as we had some trouble with scammers/leechers on here before, which has made people a bit more wary of some newer members.
And welcome to the forum RoxXan! Hope you'll like it here :)

HenitoKisou: Yep, that's basically how it works, but try to not post your request on every page, so at least few pages space is enough because more frequent and people will see that person as beggar and downrep him/her. ;-)

At least I quoted you now, so no need to repost it and +1 to you for some motivation in using these forums. ;-P

1.How can you tell if a game has DRM or not ?
2. How can you tell if it requires the Desura client ?

1. Not sure.
2. If you visit the Desura page of the game, you have the option to download the game directly (without going through Desura client).
