Hope the games get revived after possible release here.
Got old package (official trilogy+fan made pack approved by devs) and with Magma patches it still give me blast (for rest of the team too).

Of course they can. There is no even reason to convincing. Even if their sells would be small it still would be more than zero, like they are today.

"Activision is here. Where is SWAT 4?"
"Bethesda is here. Where is Terminator?"
"EA is here. Where is Black and White?"
"Square-Enix is here. Where is Final Fantasy?"
"Ubisoft is here. Where is Prince of Persia?"
"Warner Bros is here. Where is No One Lives Forever?"
And so on...
Over the years, GOG has been trying to convince the other publishers that they can get money by selling their back catalog. As the missing games show, though, they haven't always been successful at doing so, for a variety of reasons, including publisher disinterest.

There are reasons why corporations hold titles and won't sell them or let others do remaster or make new game in series. Maybe they want to make some stupid smartphone game and don't want a competition selling in small numbers on GOG.
Maybe if somebody would see it they would make similar game and had money, and the corporation itself don't want to because it goes for lowest common denominator and the risk for it is too much.
Maybe they have some secret contract and because of that can't sell those games.
I just wrote basically that 1>0 and that's it. There is no reason to convincing. It is a mathematical fact. No boxes, no CD's, GOG sells, they get money. But of course in corporate world things are not that simple.

There is however support, and manhours worth of checking if the game runs correctly on all the different modern system combinations, so there is some initial cost involved. If the sales won't compensate for it, they'd be selling at a loss.
And they managed to pull some spectacular successes that were thought to be beyond impossible. Fallout, which everyone was convinced was gone forever given the way they parted the first time, Doom, and recently Dragon Age. These were all hopeless cases. Despite all their failures, this is one thing GOG seem to be good at, so there is always hope.

In the end, GOG is trying to convince a publisher that by spending some time and money to resurrect an old game, they have a chance of profiting from it. Unfortunately, they don't always succeed.

It's a shame these games aren't well known and forgotten. They are some of the best games ever made.

Yes, they are extra class level. Something like Fallout 1&2, Doom 1&2, Quake, Duke Nukem3D, Freespace 2, Master of Magic, Dungeon Keeper, X-Com, Might and Magic IV & V - World Of Xeen and M&M6 and 7, Heroes of Might & Magic 3 Complete, Master of Orion 2, Troika games, Outcast, Jedi Knight series, etc. - basically the games that are still playable after many years, were good and will be good in the future. All of them have either open source engine and / or unofficial patches and are easily playable on modern machines. It's a real shame Myth 1&2 are not on GOG. Let's hope it will change soon.

I was under the impression they were well known so the minor smattering of votes comes as quite a surprise. Only have a physical copy of the third one, and the second one got lost during a house move, so a GOG release of this quality series would be most welcome.
