A while ago I purchased "A Case of Distrust" by The Wandering Ben
I asked for refund because I could not run under Linux and assumed that it was a Windows version.
I now setup a Window account but cannot find this game.
Any Idea what happened to this title?

Is that sold on GOG? Was it ever sold here?
Are you sure it wasn't imported into Galaxy from another store?

Look at my attached JPG. I installed Steam on Linux which I had to pay for Steam itself. I saw and purchased the game on Steam platform. I am not a big gamer so I appoliguise for lack of understanding. On GOG it states that I owned it.

Dear Breja, I found out that I had to go to GG?? to get it.
I do not understand. I thought GOG was Steam.
Very confusing.
Thank You all.
Now how do I close this post?
Thank You

GOG never sold this game and Galaxy is not telling you that you owned it. You have simply initiated a manual addition of a game to GOG Galaxy and never finished it. Basically GOG Galaxy allows you to search for any game in existence and then link an executable to it.

I suggest you launch Steam and check there.

GOG is a lot like Steam, in that they sell games, but unlike Steam, you don't have to be logged in to play them. It's pretty cool.

*baffled*
That's like saying you thought Whole Foods was Walmart... (Actually, less so, those at least share the first letter...)

Dear Breja,
There is a way to link Stream games to GOG

I must have done this before which is why it showed up in GOG Owned games.
But your right, I went to GG and followed it to store and repurchased it.
I had no idea that GOG and GG(store) and Steam are seperate identities.

I'm not Breja,

That article is old and its information outdated. GOG connect was retired and you could only ever transfer a handful of games, mainly first party. You cannot transfer a game that was never published on GOG.

What you may have done is use a Steam integration plug-in within Galaxy. That has been broken for over a year, which probably caused your confusion. Again, you best bet is to look within the actual Steam client.

On your screen shot showing Galaxy, it shows Link executable. I've edited your screen shot to point a bunch of arrows at it because that's what I'm referring to.

You'll only see this if the game wasn't purchased through GOG. This also applies to games that are available on GOG that you purchased elsewhere.

If you synched Galaxy with that other storefront, you probably just need to refresh it.
You can also manually add the game back into your GOG Galaxy library.

I also always order myself a "Whopper King Menu" at the McD drive-thru...and then am slightly confused when they tell me that they don't sell that. ;-)
