Still remember the times when my goal was to make it to 1000 rep. Though I was still pretty active back then. Priorities are changing, thankfully :D

I really can't imagine why it takes so long for a forum overhaul. We wouldn't even need an overhaul. Just nuke the damn forums and introduce a new system, dammit.

Vainamoinen: No worries, you can put links in quote tags and the forum accepts it even with negative rep. Tried and tested.

If there's one advantage to using a forum software that predates the internet...
Then why did they create forum software with no internet around? It's almost as silly as creating a rep. system, but not quite.

I'm pretty sure that GOG couldn't change/improve the forum software even if they wanted to.

Because the programming/design team has died of old age.

Well, the forum software is indeed based on Konrad Zuse`s "Plankalkül", so no chances of improving/repairing it, no one nowadays is able to understand it, because the code is written in Sütterlin. :-D
