SCPM: Paradox (and Frictional) are here now. But there is still work to be done elsewhere. >:3
Frictional have been on here for quite some time,if I remember correctly their threads were opened up because of some stuff they did REMOVE from their GOG-catalog...

Aye, they removed Amnesia: The Dark Descent and the Penumbra games when GOG implemented regional pricing, but those games are back now. :)

Why was there no news for this on main page?!
Anyways, I´ll remove Frictional from that list!

That thread was locked 3 hours ago on the pretext of "Don't discuss piracy here. Official warnings given"

it is open again with a warning, and it is not a pretext - it is against the rules there to talk about piracy in any form.
This topic is now opened. New replies are allowed.

I didn't know this word is a taboo there. (yeah, I found later where it was mentioned). But I see 2 different posts trying to end that thread quickly, so I feel something is off there.......

I'm not really interested in discussions there now and simply deleted my account. Discussing the futility of DRM without mentioning piracy is like discussing problems of corruption without mentioning politics. I find such censorship there pretty annoying.

I went ahead and made a thread on 3DRealms' forum encouraging them to keep bringing games to GOG.

Figured I'd do one bump during the Insomnia sale.

Unfortunately, 3D Realms will not be able to publish some games, in particular Wolf 3D and the Keen games, on GOG, according to their FAQ:
"We do not have rights to distribute many of these titles through 3rd party distributors, such as Steam. "
I suspect this will also be the case with the DOS version of Raptor and Death Rally. Aside from the freeware games, that would leave Math Rescue, Word Rescue, Paganitzu, and Mystic Towers. Those probably need a lot more votes as some of those games are older and not as deep, and people were already complaining loudly about titles with more depth like Crystal Caves and Cosmo's Cosmic Adventure.

Mmm, that's a real shame, but it is what it is. I assume the original Death Rally nor the remake isn't here via Remedy b/c of mucky legal issues.

Well, we got Stargunner which only had ~30 votes, whereas games like Bio Menace and Halloween Harry/Alien Carnage have 200+ votes, so I think there's at least still interest in those.

But as I said above, it is what it is. :P
Went ahead and created a new Activision post since it didn't seem like a good idea to bump the old one: https://community.activision.com/message/415630677#415630677

Thanks! Having Bloodlines here would be great.
I asked Compulsion Games whether they plan to release "We Happy Few" on GOG and why their previous title (Contrast) isn't on GOG yet:

Feel free to add your voices there too.
