Cool idea. +1 (but not in)
dtgreene: Not in, but happy international women's day!
By the way, why not include games developed by women in this giveaway? Two examples I can think of offhand are Dragon Wars and Wizardry 8.
dtgreene: Not necessarily; some games have character creation but don't let you choose gender. For example, Eschalon: Book 1 only lets you play as a male character.
Also, there are games that give you a gender selection, but end up favoring male characters; the Gold Box games are the best example I can think of here, mainly because it's so blatant (male characters have a strength advantage over female ones, and female charactes don't get anything to compensate). He probably had games like Oblivion in mind which don't favor male PCs. At least I never felt at a disadvantage slaughtering hordes of enemies with my warrior priestess.
*ponders* Oh well, time for a re-install. Its not like Bethesda gets off its butt and let Gog release Skyrim anyway.
