i could, if you have used keys, you can fool some users , but it doesn't work pretty well if you ask me.... for obvious reasons.

Considering that I would at most have a paltry handful of codes that I've already given away to other fleshlings, or have redeemed myself, yes that would be entirely useless.

Still not sure I follow - are we talking about codes that have already been redeemed? If yes, was that a request for such codes so they could use them to scam in trades? How does the fooling exactly work?

if the user receiving such code , doesn't put it in the redeem box before sending its part of the trade.

as we said above, it's kinda pointless if the person receiving it, inputs the code , before sending anything, since the code is displayed as used.

Looking for redeemed codes to scam in a trade... definitely one of the lamest tactics I've heard of.

Well, we don't know if this is the purpose of their inquiry. OTOH, why would one w̶a̶n̶t̶ need the redeemed codes of others? Any way you look at it, it makes no sense.
