OneFiercePuppy: Besides, gunsynd's mind completely blew up. I'm sure he'd have been eager to "get back" at the community for whatever it is we did that broke him. /shrug
What happened ?

EndreWhiteMane: Correct, that's weird but the way they behave,

Not sure I follow.

It's interesting to note that even though their posts have been downrepped today, their rep went up...

Yes, Judas is aware of it.
Curious if anything will come of it.

Wha.. the avatar change is already confusing, but if goggers even modify username, this will become a total mess +_+

HypersomniacLive: Actually, it appears as gunsynd in the contacts list, but with the current avatar, plus all messages show the current username, not gunsynd.
Yep, confirmed. Interesting software behavior there.

thats always whats happened when you've had prior contact with a user who has changed their name - nothing unusual about it...on gog.

I had to contact with the Gog support and had to provide payment details as the last 4 digits of the CC , last purchased game .

Someone downrepped a couple of his posts. Gunsynd thought that's not fair because he earned his rep honestly and didn't "buy" it with giveaways (people who do giveaways are "high rep scammers" in his eyes). He asked GOG to give him back his lost rep or to delete his account.

Funny... I thought GOG doesn't store our credit card details oO

Not in the storefront system, but their internal economy system has to keep track of all actual money transfers. GOG is an official company, not some shady back-alley black market store. Their accounting department has to know the details of all transactions in order to do their job.

Good, but I was also thinking about simply recognizing old users in the forum. :P

I think DragonLich should be added to the list. I've seen him in numerous giveaways, and never outside them. His typing style looks extremely similar to nes400's. Also, a search reveals that he won a game back in June, from a giveaway that required you to redeem the key yourself, only to enter another giveaway for the same game yesterday. Rep is too low to link, but here are the URLs:

It looks like the first key he won was a GoG key, and the second he entered for was Steam. While poor form, it may explain the duplication.
